Apprentices from MACL were recognised at the annual Essex Construction Training Association (ECTA) Trainee Awards in Chelmsford this week, an event to recognise outstanding achievements in the construction industry.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Kelly Jones received the Special Recognition Award for her unwavering dedication and hard work in supporting trainees and apprentices.
Her commitment to developing the next generation of construction professionals has been truly inspiring, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of her efforts.

In addition, Mackenzie Grant was awarded Highly Commended in Engineering for his exceptional ability to undertake engineering tasks with ease, his dedication to every project, and his strong ambition to progress in his career with MACL.
His recognition is a testament to his hard work and potential in the field.

We also want to congratulate Kyle Talbot, who was nominated for the Groundworks Apprentice Award.
While he did not secure the award this time, his nomination is a significant achievement and a reflection of his talent and promise in the industry.
Steve Howe, Managing Director of MACL said: “Kelly’s Special Recognition Award truly reflects the exceptional dedication and passion she brings to the team, and we commend Mackenzie for his hard work and dedication – this recognition was a testament to his progress and commitment to high standards.
“For Kyle, being nominated is in itself a significant achievement and his nomination speaks volumes about his potential and the high regard in which he is held.”
The event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all our trainees and apprentices and we extend our congratulations to all nominees and winners and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in their careers.
A special thank you to the Essex Construction Training Association for organising such an inspiring event and to Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd for sponsoring.
