At the start of the week, we proudly presented The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity with a cheque for £23,195, raised from this year’s successful MACL Fishathon. This significant donation surpasses the original £20,000 target, with the total boosted by a generous £10,000 match-funding contribution from The Anderson Foundation.

The Lighthouse Club is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting the emotional, physical, and financial well-being of workers in the construction industry. The funds raised will go a long way in helping the charity provide vital services to those in need.

The MACL Fishathon has now raised over £60,000 since its inception, thanks to the efforts of the company, participants, and generous sponsors.

MACL extends its deepest gratitude to all those who contributed to this year’s event, and we look forward to continuing our support for The Lighthouse Club and the construction community in the years to come.
